Terms of Service

Effective 29 April 2026

By using Sportsplex you agree to these Terms. If you're using the service on behalf of an organisation (a club, brand, federation), you confirm you have authority to bind it.

1. The service

Sportsplex is a sports operating system: live match rooms, social feed, athlete economy, marketplace, and sponsor intelligence. Operated by Sportsplex Inc., a Kavod Technologies company, founded 2021.

2. Eligibility + account

  • You must be at least 13 to create an account; 16 in the EEA / UK without verifiable parental consent.
  • Provide accurate information. Keep your password safe. You're responsible for activity on your account.
  • One person, one account. Bots, automation, and impersonation are not allowed.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Break any law, harass, defame, or threaten others.
  • Post hateful, sexual-of-minors, or violent content. We remove and report illegal material.
  • Manipulate the platform — fake engagement, scraped follow graphs, match-fixing chat.
  • Reverse-engineer the service, bypass rate limits, or interfere with infrastructure.

Violations can result in content removal, account suspension or termination, and (for severe abuse) referral to law enforcement.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of what you post. By posting, you grant Sportsplex a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, distribute, and back up your content as required to run the service. The licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies already shared with subscribers (those expire when the subscription does) and for backups held for up to 30 days.

You are responsible for the rights to anything you post — match imagery, music, logos, trademarks. Don't post what isn't yours.

5. Athlete economy

  • Subscriptions, livestream tips, mentorship bookings, and drops route through Stripe, Paystack, or Flutterwave depending on your country.
  • Sportsplex's default platform cut is up to 12% on subscriptions and drops, 20% on livestream revenue, and 5% on tickets. Lower rates may apply at scale.
  • Payouts happen on a weekly cadence in your local currency. Held funds may be delayed for fraud review or disputed transactions.
  • You agree to provide accurate tax info (W-9, W-8BEN, equivalent). We file the forms statutory regulators require.

6. Marketplace + escrow

  • Service bookings on the marketplace are escrow-protected. Funds release to the provider 72 hours after the scheduled delivery, or earlier if the buyer confirms.
  • Disputes go through Sportsplex Trust & Safety. We make a final, binding determination within 14 days.
  • Tickets are non-refundable except for cancelled fixtures. Drops are limited inventory and sold first-come, first-served — no resale on the platform.

7. Sponsors + brands

  • Brand activations require explicit athlete or club approval per post. Brands cannot publish on a creator's feed without consent.
  • Attribution metrics are produced in good faith using deterministic and probabilistic signals. Numbers may be re-stated within 30 days as anti-fraud filters update.
  • Sponsors are billed monthly, performance-tied. Disputed metrics go to mediation.

8. White-label tenants

Clubs, federations, and academies operating under their own brand on Sportsplex agree to the separate Sportsplex Tenant Agreement, which supersedes these Terms in any conflict for tenant-controlled data.

9. Fees + refunds

  • Fan tier is free. Paid tiers are billed in advance and renew unless you cancel before the next renewal date.
  • Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We don't prorate.
  • EU consumers have a 14-day cooling-off period unless you start using paid features immediately, in which case you waive the right by acceptance during sign-up.

10. Intellectual property

Sportsplex, the wordmark, the SX monogram, the red swoosh, and related marks are trademarks of Sportsplex Inc. and Kavod Technologies. Press kit usage is governed by /press.

11. Disclaimers + liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is capped at the greater of $100 or the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or anything the law says cannot be limited.

12. Termination

You can close your account any time from Settings → Security. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where reasonable.

13. Governing law + disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes go to the courts of London, except that consumers in their country of residence may have local-court rights we cannot waive. EU consumers can use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
